Somerset SCITT are hosting Teams recruitment events so you can find out more about our PGCE, School Direct or Teaching Apprenticeship Routes.

Somerset SCITT works across Somerset, North Somerset, Dorset and Devon with a range of partnership schools.

Somerset SCITT offers three post graduate routes to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). These include:
• PGCE Primary (ages 5-11)
• PGCE Primary with Early Years Specialism (ages 3-7)
• School Direct (salaried and non-salaried) – based in Somerset, working in partnership with Heathfield Community School
• School Direct (non-salaried) – based in North Somerset, working in partnership with Golden Valley Primary School
• School Direct (non-salaried) – based in North Somerset, working in partnership with Bournville Primary School – Beach Teaching School Alliance
• The Duchy School – Ventrus
• Teaching Apprenticeship
