The training will enable professional tutors, class teachers and others to:

  • Empower trainees;
  • Act as a critical friend;
  • Set high expectations;
  • Build resilience;
  • Develop trainees’ reflection and evaluative skills;
  • Understand Somerset SCITT paperwork.

Booking information

This is a fully funded session for all Professional Tutors and Class Teachers to attend.

Attendance will qualify the placement school to receive a one off additional placement fee.

Tea, coffee and water is provided during the course, however lunch is not provided.


Audience information

This session is for Professional Tutors and Class Teachers in Primary Schools and those who would like to update their knowledge and understanding of being a Professional Tutor for SCITT.
